Robb is excited to join the PCD team as the Green Stormwater Program Manager. He lives in southeast Tacoma and enjoys spending time in his raingarden (which was installed thanks to the PCD assistance program!).
Prior to PCD, Robb was the Northwest Representative for Defenders of Wildlife in Seattle where he worked on advocacy efforts and community projects to benefit either grizzly bears or orcas. This included the Orcas Love Raingardens program, which he co-founded in Tacoma in 2017 (and was when he was first introduced to PCD).
Before joining Defenders, Robb was the Yellowstone Wildlife Fellow with the National Parks Conservation Association. In this role, he helped ranchers modify their fences to make them wildlife-friendly. He also worked on several GIS projects in Montana as an independent consultant, including identifying carnivore connectivity areas and recommending bighorn sheep conservation strategies. Prior to moving to Montana, Robb was the Program Associate with Environment Washington in Seattle. There, he worked on banning plastic bags in over a dozen cities (including Seattle).
Robb graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland with a Master’s of Science in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drake University with two Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Politics.
