Raingarden PictureAre you experiencing issues with flooding on your property? Want to get rid of useless grass and transform it into a beautiful landscape full of flowers, colorful shrubs, and winter interest? Or do you want to help eliminate stormwater pollution in your local stream? Well, a rain garden might be the perfect solution for you!

Rain Garden Workshops:
PCD is hosting 2 more workshops this spring; sign up today via the links below or by emailing
hannahl@piercecd.org:
There are still a few upcoming opportunities to attend one of our informative Rain garden Workshops. Within these workshops you will learn how to build, design, and maintain a rain garden. You will also find out ways that the Pierce Conservation District Rain Garden program can help you through this process and the financial resources available based on where you live.

Our staff is well equipped to help you create your perfect rain garden. We have numerous successful projects under our belt, such as the one pictured above that was completed just this year at the Steilacoom Community Center.
