Astra joined Pierce Conservation District as the 2024-2025 Conservation Education Specialist Americorps member. She started out as a restoration work party volunteer for PCD, and then became a habitat steward for Bradley Lake Park. She recently finished her undergraduate studies at Central Washington University, focusing on environmental anthropology and primate ecology. In her free time, Astra enjoys walking her dog Ruby, birding, exploring our incredible forests, and tending to her plants.
