Sarah joined Pierce Conservation District in 2023 as the Green Stormwater Program Manager, where she designs and manages green stormwater programs and projects that help clean polluted runoff and provide better urban habitats. She has a background in environmental studies and music. Prior to joining PCD, she spent time installing and monitoring rain gardens and other stormwater solutions across Kitsap County. When not at PCD, she is usually crafting, kayaking, or sheet mulching another chunk of her lawn to plant native and pollinator-friendly plants.
