Kayla’s introduction to PCD was from becoming a volunteer through the Habitat Stewardship program. Not too long after, she became the Habitat Stewardship Technician for the Green Tacoma Partnership, helping with the very program that she started in. She is passionate about building local engagement and knowledge of sustainable land management to create resilient and self-reliant communities. On her days off she enjoys cooking, gardening, painting, playing with her dogs or learning about sustainable off-grid living.
