Lou joined Pierce Conservation District in 2023 and served for two years as the Farm and Habitat Specialist AmeriCorps Member. They earned their undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Washington and are currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental studies. Lou is passionate about restoration ecology, sustainability, and community engagement. Outside of their work and studies, Lou enjoys hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and cooking.
