School may be out for the summer, but learning continues at Eco Camp! Eco Camp is a summer program that provides outdoor education and team building opportunities for students in the Salishan neighborhood. The program is organized through a partnership between the Environmental Education team at Pierce Conservation District and the Tacoma Housing Authority team at Salishan.

Salishan is just a little hike away from Swan Creek Park, where the campers get to have fun in nature while learning about their local ecosystem. From energetic camp games and scavenger hunts to creek-side hikes and nature art, days at the park are full of engaging nature-themed activities. Campers experience the natural world of their neighborhood in a new light while making lasting summer memories!
