Cascade Land Conservancy ($10,000), to close on 12 land acquisition projects and position 13 new projects through outreach and education.

Citizens for a Healthy Bay ($20,000), to begin community supported stewardship on two new sites in Tacoma and provide technical support for large shallow water habitat restoration project in Commencement Bay.

City of Sumner ($5,300), for the initial set-up of a community garden in Sumner.

Emergency Food Network ($50,000), to sustain Mother Earth Farm and develop a new farm project at the Inglin Farm.

Green Tacoma Partnership ($20,000), to increase the number of Community Stewards by implementing a Natural Areas Steward training.

Native Plant Salvage Alliance ($17,700), to expand plant salvaging opportunities and distribution around Tacoma and Pierce County.

Puget Creek Restoration Society ($10,000), for education and outreach, and to purchase equipment to assist in local restoration.

Tacoma Urban League ($20,000), to recruit and educate six women who will then participate in local environmental projects.

Tahoma Audubon Society ($7,000), to expand media outreach to increase volunteer participation in local restoration efforts.
