The 2020 Community Food Project of the Year Award goes to the Lakewood Community Garden!
This community garden kept the Lakewood Garden safe and accessible during the 2020 growing season of the pandemic. We admire their dedication to ensuring that their gardeners could continue growing food for themselves, their families, and the food bank.
All their hard work and inspired gardening has created a space that is welcoming and provides beautiful food for the community!
Hear from this incredible team about what the award means to them and how they got through the pandemic!
