Nancy HuizarNancy Huizar joined the Pierce Conservation District as our new 2015-2016 AmeriCorps intern. She recently graduated from the University of Washington with B.S. in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. Nancy will primarily be working with our Water Quality Program where she will write up the water quality reports of 2015, assist and host stream-side plantings, and drafting grants for our depave projects. In addition to working with the Water Quality team, Nancy will also be helping with our educational outreach program. She is excited to work with our educational team to further our engagement with K-12 students all around Pierce County.
