  1. South Prairie Creek Preserve Work Party

    Come join us at South Prairie Creek Preserve for a volunteer work party on February 21st as we remove invasive plant species from critical salmon habitat. During the wet winter months, we have a wonderful opportunity to dig out root balls and reduce invasive plant species competition while the ground is workable. Over the last 20 years of restoration, PCD has installed over 46,000 native trees and shrubs. In an effort to give these native plants the best possible chance for survival, invasive plant species to allow for optimal growing conditions.
