Slow Poultry Seminar - RESCHEDULED for June

Saturday, February 17, 2018

This seminar has been rescheduled for June 2018-- date TBD! Please email Alison at alisonn@piercecd.org if you are interested in attending a June seminar. The Sustainable Poultry Network’s mission is to equip farmers, chefs and people to breed, grow and market sustainable flocks of standard-bred poultry—enabling the raising and eating of the heritage birds our grandparents raised for generations. This eight-hour seminar provides an overview and strategy for developing sustainable poultry production.

This workshop has been rescheduled for June 2018

In This Workshop:

Learn how to start effectively breeding, growing and marketing poultry products that are both sustainable and profitable. We will carefully look at these four areas:

  • PURPOSE – Explaining sustainable poultry production models
  • PRODUCT – Defining the true historical meaning of standard-bred poultry
  • PROCESS – Understanding the foundational pillars of sustainable poultry production
  • PROGRAMS – Developing a strategy and plan for success
